Ama Foundry License Types
We offer different types of licenses for our Ama Foundry fonts. And if you find what you’re looking for, please read and agree to our EULA (End-User License Agreement) before making your purchase(s).
In the following text, you will find a description and pricing mechanism of the following licenses:
- Desktop license
- Web license
- Apps, Games, and eBooks license
- Broadcast license
- Digital Ad license

- Corporate license
For Web, Apps, Games, eBooks, Broadcasting, and Digital Ads, it’s good to remember that you may need to purchase additional Desktop licenses (or combine license types) for the number of employees creating your graphics using our fonts. You are always welcome to contact us for hesitations or advice on licensing.
Desktop license (single and multiple-user licenses)
For desktop usage, you can use a single license on up to three (3) devices within one (1) organization or company. If you need to use it on over three devices, you must purchase a multiple-user license. A desktop license is perpetual.

Web license
If you want to use an Ama Foundry font on a website, you’ll need a web license relative to the number of visitors per month of your website(s). A web license is perpetual. Our web fonts can be used across all websites/domains belonging to you as a license owner, considering you do not exceed your predefined amount of page views and amount of domains.

Apps, Games, and eBooks license
Ama Foundry provides licenses to embed fonts in desktop and mobile applications, eBooks, and other software and hardware products for commercial distribution.
Embedding licensing permits read-only usage for a single product, which you may distribute across multiple mobile platforms and devices (e.g., iOS, Android, HTML5). Please refer to the Web license for embedding fonts in websites using the @font-face rule in CSS.
An App, Game, and eBook license for an Ama Foundry font permits usage in one (1) application or title. For use beyond this limit, you must obtain multiple licenses. We provide the font files discussed in this paragraph for a one-time, per-title fee, valid for the product’s lifetime.

Server license
You can install an Ama Foundry font on a server that allows remote users or website visitors to generate personalized documents like PDFs, cards, or rasterized images. Please note that while the final artwork can be downloaded, the licensed fonts may not be distributed or downloaded from the server. This license is perpetual for the specified number of servers.

Broadcast license
Should you want to use our fonts in broadcasting or movies (for titling or credits) within a defined territory, you will need a broadcast license. This license also permits trailer display via social media or websites. You can purchase a broadcast license per year or a perpetual license.

Digital Ad license
If you want to use an Ama Foundry font in a digital ad, you’ll need a digital ad license. This license is valid for one (1) digital ad only. If you want to use it for more ads or for more than the set number of impressions, you’ll need to purchase multiple licenses. A digital ad license is perpetual. Please contact us to learn about our fees and for more information.
Third-Party license
You can add a Third-Party License to your Desktop license to allow authorized design agencies, printers, or service providers to access and work with Ama Foundry fonts. The cost of this license is 50% of the Desktop License fee. It is important to note that this license is only valid for producing work on behalf of the original customer. Don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your Third-Party license case, and we will guide you through the licensing process.
Corporate license
The Corporate License allows an entire company, organization, or any form of single legal entity to install and use the fonts perpetually. There’s no limit on how many people or locations use the fonts. And the license gives you all the rights granted by our Desktop, Web, and App Licenses. The latter means you can use the fonts in any number of apps, on any number of websites or domains, and with no temporal constraints. The license is valid for a single legal entity through a one-time payment with no recurring fees.
The corporate license is available online for Desktop, Web and App licenses and begins with the word “unlimited”. For Desktop: its “Unlimited computers and/or devices”, for Web “Unlimited unique visitors per month” in combination with “Unlimited domains” or the amount of domains you need, and for Apps or e-Pubs titles, it’s called “Unlimited apps/titles”.
